"Charity must never look back, but always ahead, for the number of its past benefits is always quite small, as the present and future miseries it should alleviate are infinite." Frederick Ozanam S

Helping Our Neighbors in Need

  • We donate items out of our stores directly to low-income people. Last year we gave away over $135,000 of clothes, bedding, and household items.

  • We operate the largest food pantry in Dane County. Last year we helped over 32,000 people with $850,000 worth of food. A share of the food provided through our food pantry is purchased with money raised from our Thrift Store sales.
  • We are the principle place in Dane County to donate furniture to help the homeless after they find housing. Over $238,000 of furniture was donated last year.
  • Money raised from our store sales allow us to help people with other needs such as transportation, emergency shelter, and prescriptions.  Last year we donated $43,342 of prescription assistance and another $43,037 for rent and utility assistance.
  • We run Thrift Stores where people can buy clothes, furniture, and household items at low prices.
